Ahmet Nejat
About the artist
Ahmet Nejat was born in 1956 in Ardabil in Iran. He was graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Graphic Design Department in 1988. He was graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Painting Department, from Ozdemir Altan's in 1992. At the same period, he continued painting works in his studio opened individual exhibitions and took part in several exhibitions.
His art is the synthesis of Western Art and traditional Eastern Paintings. His main materials are oilpaint and gold leaves which are mostly used to cover the canvas surface.
Ahmet Nejat exhibited his paintings in individual exhibitions and took part in several exhibitions in Turkey, Iran, USA and The United Arab Emirates.
