About the artist

The author probes the new social formations in Republic Period of Turkey in her books, using the interviews she does with the real witnesses of the period as a tool.

The oral history works have great importance in her books that were published up until today.  She has three discourse books, a review and a novel published.  She adapted one of Atilla İlhan’s scenarios as a visual novel.   The last edited book of the author had again a biographical quality, evaluating Turkish politics within the period of 1950-1980.  Kilic-Hristidis, started journalism after her degree in 1987, still works as an independent journalist.
